Above The Pettiness

A few things have happened in the past few months. I left my previous employer, am growing my own business, am rekindling business connections, found a new romantic relationship, and am generally flourishing since leaving my stressful position with above mentioned employer.

That said, something happened today that reinforced the fact that I made the right decision to focus on my future by putting my energy towards everything that goes into creating my own success.

It doesn't really matter what happened, what matters is how hard some people work to extinguish your fire.

I have never understood the philosophy of those who consistently burn so much of their energy trying to make the lives of those around them a struggle. It shines the light on their pettiness.

I have achieved, I will continue to achieve, I will foster my own happiness, I will continue to build my own success. I create my own adventure and my own future.

My candle shines bright.
